Update: I've been radio-silent...

Dear readers,

Some of you have noticed my absence over the past few months and I feel like I owe you guys a bit of an explanation...

I began this year with the best of intentions to keep up with posting and sharing my thoughts about what I’m reading, but unfortunately “real life” got in the way of most of my plans… I have had quite an intense couple of months, where a combination of personal events and a change of work environment as part of my residency, has done a number on my energy and overall health. I’ve struggled quite a bit to find the energy to read at all, let alone the inspiration to talk about what I’ve read in a comprehensive manner. Part of this whole thing has been about trying to be a bit more gentle and “less hard on myself”, so I’m trying not to beat myself up too much over this unplanned hiatus. I’m hoping to be back in business by the end of June, starting off with my mid-year update.
